Property Sales Negotiator

What the role is about 

 

House Sales Direct are a nationwide quick property sales agency, working exclusively with companies such as webuyanyhouse.co.uk, The Rapid Home Buyers and Quick Cash for Properties. Our goal is to provide our customers with a hassle free and quick sales process, specialising in selling property across the UK.  

The Property Sales Negotiator works collaboratively within the wider Sales team of House Sales Direct.  They take ownership for managing the sales negotiation process for properties within the company's property portfolio, liaising with potential buyers for the quick sale of a property. Excellent communication and strong influential skills are required in order to achieve sales targets set by your Sales Manager. 

The role will be required to ensure that all properties are accurately advertised within pre-agreed timescales and be responsible for communicating with vendors and investors with regular updates.

Where you will be in… 

 

3 months 

You will have completed our induction and training program and will have all the necessary tools and techniques to enable us to promote and subsequently sell to our clients. You will have a good knowledge of the property market and will be able to build close relationships with our customers.  

6 months 

You will have settled into the role and developed your own style which works for you to engage with your customers, understand their unique situations, and tailor your pitch. By this point, you will be reaping the financial benefits of successfully negotiating deals with customers and be able to sell to more and more customers each month. 

1 year 

After your first year, you will have become one of the senior negotiators in our team achieving high levels of sales each month, and will now be able to call yourself an expert in the workings of the property market.  

 

 

Here is what you can expect to be doing 

 

  • Ensuring all of the properties advertised by the administrators are placed within a reasonable time. 

  • Advertise properties to relevant clients for each product. 

  • Liaising with vendors in order to negotiate the price down to achieve the best possible price, acceptable for both the company and the seller. 

  • Ensuring all vendors are spoken to and updated on a regular basis. 

  • Quickly identify customer needs and create a suitable solution for them. 

  • Keeping up to date with trends in the local residential property market, as well as the commercial market. 

  • Forecasting and managing the sales pipeline. 

  • Regular reporting of performance to the Board. 

  • Referring buyers to mortgage advisors & solicitors for quotations and advice. 

  • Any other duties as and when required. 

  • Identify opportunities, aligned with re-negotiation on the client's agreed ‘option figure’.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in line with other departments within a wider sales function. 

  • Understanding of the property sales process is essential.   

  • Excellent time management and highly organised. 

  • Good understanding of IT systems. 

  • Proven successful experience of working towards and successfully achieving targets/ KPI’s.

Location and hours of work 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 

Working Hours:  An average of 40 hours per week, this includes working 1 in every 4 Saturdays. 

The role will be entirely office based at the company's headquarters in the newly refurbished office at Atlas Business Park close to Manchester Airport. 

With excellent transport links and free parking, we are easy to get to. The closest train station is Heald Green (10-minute walk), and Peel Hall tram stop is right around the corner.
