This role will lead the Sales department for one of our key brands, motivating and growing the team in line with our expansion goals. The role reports directly into our Head of Sales Development, assisting in managing a team which currently consists of 10 Property Sales Consultants. These consultants focus on speaking to customers who have enquired through our website looking to sell their property quickly and below market value.
As part of our service, we look to purchase property in 3 days or a timescale to suit the needs of the customer and it is the Property Sales consultants role to maximise sales and achieve the best price they can for the company. We speak to over 1,500 customers looking to sell their house every month.
The Property Sales consultants sales skills need to be sharp and well-practised to drive in high levels of business and as well as that need to be highly motivated. These elements will fall to the Sales Manager, and you should have similar experience in developing teams to this level. Over the next 12 months, we plan to grow our sales team by 50% and this position will play a big role in us reaching that target.
You will be responsible for identifying sales representatives training needs and putting full development plans in place for each of them to enable them to hit those all-important company sales targets. Your focus will be on ensuring expertise exists across the team in the property market's workings, how to value property and negotiate with our customers effectively.

You will have completed our induction training program and have a good knowledge of how the team works, as well as the inner workings of the property market. You will understand the full customer journey experienced by each new customer that contacts us to sell their property.
In the first 3 months, you will spend your time as one of our Sales representatives full time, to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the role, learn more about the day-to-day tasks and expectations, and see how you can start to improve the team.
You will now be putting in place the learnings you have gathered to improve your team's overall performance and begin managing them to achieve their earning potential. This will involve acting as a leader, helping each team member expand and perfect their sales technique, working with them on their pitch.
After your first year, you will be continuing to expand your team, having now become an expert in the property market and how to make money from it. You will be creating new ways for them to run day-to-day and develop your management and teaching style. You will be making a significant contribution to the management meetings on how to process sales faster and improve efficiency across all business areas.

Day to day management & coaching - assisting sales consultants with client queries & objections to aid conversions.

Working closely with other department heads to ensure processes are streamlined and as efficient as possible.
