Property Valuer
About the Role:
We are actively seeking a seasoned Property Valuer to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be stationed in-house, specialising in desktop valuations, delivering comprehensive property valuation training internally, and providing strategic advice to the Directors regarding potential property purchases. Your primary focus will be on valuing and evaluating properties throughout the UK, acting as an internal adviser to ensure acquisitions align with the company’s criteria.
What to Expect in this Role:
- Conduct thorough desktop valuations and assess internal property images to evaluate potential property acquisitions.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, offering expert guidance on crafting compelling offers to customers. Provide them with essential facts and information to fortify the justification behind our offers.
- Take ownership of maintaining profit margins per acquisition and collaborate with our senior team to devise strategies for enhancing overall profitability. Act as an internal adviser to the business, recommending whether potential purchases meet the company’s criteria.
- Research and identify potential issues during the legal process, providing detailed insights.
- Develop and provide summarised resale strategies to the post-sales team.
- Advise the post-sales team on resale value and target buyers for successful completion.
- Collaborate with the sales progression team, offering insights into potential issues during the sales progression period.
- Create internal policies and processes for property acquisitions sign-off
To be successful in this role you will need
- 5+ years’ experience in working within property valuing.
- RICS, MRICS, FRICS or AssocRICS preferable but not essential.
